Modern Masculinity and Christian culture

Something has been bothering me for a long time. Why is it that so many men today feel bored or trapped? Like they’re starring in someone else’s show or a life they never signed up for? Why does it seem like strength, boldness, risk, all the things that built civilizations are now seen as problems and liabilities? I will tell you why. Because we’ve spent the last few decades not training men, but taming them. From kindergarten onward, little boys are told to sit down. Be quiet. Don’t be loud. Don’t be rough. Don’t be anything that smells like testosterone. If you speak up, if you show backbone, they slap a label on you. “Toxic Masculinity.” Toxic? Really? We used to admire courage and grit. Now we hand out gold stars for compliance and call it virtue. We’ve traded warriors for yes-men. Adventurers for appeasers. Men aren’t living anymore. They’re asking permission just to exist. I take my Christian faith very seriously. My testimony in Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything I do....
